Jump then fall

Copenhagen climate talks are finally over.
So was it a success, or of little help, or none at all?
I guess they all decided to take little steps first, steps that some may feel not enough.
This week was once again tiring and filled with choir. But, I managed to find time to catch a movie with Sandy and Estee. Bodyguards and assassins. I didn't even know what the storyline was about. I just presume it was some movie with a lot of fighting scenes and those make believe kung fu stuff. So of course, the 3 of us didnt expect the show to be soooo SAD. So grotesque and just.. really sad to watch.
So just some advice. Go watch it! If you are those that cry quite easily, be prepared to. If you are those that cannot recognise and remember faces well... be prepared to get confused or lost halfway through the show.
Jump then fall, into me.

TH1RTEEN R3ASONS WHY.
Such an awesome read that I finished it within a few hours, and god knows how long have I been able to have the time to do that.
The story is basically about a girl named Hannah Baker who commited suicide. Before this, she actually made a set of tapes explaining the 13 reasons on why she decided to end her life when it just began in a new town.
Her crush and classmate, Clay, apparently also received the set of tapes from her, meaning, he's one of the 13 reasons. If he listens, he will find out why.
A map that she has carefully placed in each of their lockers weeks before her death also was part of the part. Using the map, Clay actually spends one night crisscrossing the town to specially located spots in the town where each of the events which Hannah described took place. As he listened to each of the tapes, he begins to realise the dark truth and all the signs that he has been oblivious about- the truth which he never wanted to know.
All in all, this is just one eerie book, imagine listening to the voice of your friend who died, talking, remorsing, explaining with vehemence about the people who cause her to spiral into a bottomless abyss of depression. Or worse, receiving those tapes, knowing that you have been one of the 13 reasons on why your friend decides to end her life.
creepy eh?

family day
Sunday, December 6, 2009 @ 8:54 PM

Family day at Marina Barrage today. I must say, it was more fun than I expected it to be. The goodie bag came with a kite so my parents and I rushed to the second level and started trying to fly it. HAHHAHAHHA! My mum was telling me how well my dad could fly kites, of course, I didnt believe it fully..
But after seeing how everyone around us couldn't fly the small kite, to the extent that most were just dragging it around.. wow, my dad sure can fly kites! :D
I think its really nice to shoot photos there.
Where have the days gone?

Thursday, the slackest day of the week :D
So I spent it sorting out all my photos from the past 4 years, starting with the ones with TK choir. Looking back, I realised how much memories were created with them, some I don't even remember till I started looking through the photos!
Honestly, it really was worth reminiscing, looking back of how much I have been through the past 4 years just with the choir alone. Really awesome times... I am glad I have photos of it! From my very first overseas trip with the school to malacca to very last competition I joined under TK choir, SYF'09, everything was beyond awesome. I think I can go on and on about memories from every single event/trip I have been to with tkchoir but that would take a long time.. So, I think I will do that over the span of the holidays.. otherwise I have nothing to blog about anymore.
OHOH, I didn't realise I changed over the years.. interesting.
Photos will come maybe later tonight, once I get them sorted out ahhah!
TK CHOIR FAREWELL(:

AWESOME. just awesome.
It's finally my turn, the 2009 batch to sit there and go, o.o I wonder what they will put up for us. Or, o.o, I wonder what the gift will be.. hehehe.
Anyway, the whole farewell was really fun. The skits were hilarious and the game played has showed me that we do not know our ABBA songs as well as we thought.... oops.
BUT the highlight of the night has to be the song sang by the committee. It really recapped what the seniors/ex-com did for the whole year! It was simply refreshing to listen to and remember all such standard moments of being in TK choir.
REALLY THANKS SO MUCH TO ALL MY JUNIORS. you have really worked hard this year for the SYF and whatever performances. thanks so much for tolerating my mistakes and trying your best to do whatever I always harp on. HAHAHAHA! Enjoy your time in TK choir and continue to bring glory and honour! :D
Why you so airy, why you so throaty, sing with support and please stand properly..................
