WOAH MAN!!! OBS ROCKED SOCKS!

I knew it would a much better trip than russia EHHEHEHEHE!(: ( im SORRY LA! )( inside joke.)

But seriously, OBS really did change my perspective of many things. Like, truefully speaking, I wasnt quite sure about how my group BO SENG was going to work together. Was really doubting that this would be a watch that would work together something. HOWEVER! Things were like totally different from what everyone expected it to be, cause in the end we clicked together REALLY REALLY REALLY well.(: ( better than the rest(:) YEAH MAN. Everything we did was quick and efficient and we were always first EHEHEHE! Like for trekking, last to leave, first to reach the destination even though we got lost. WE like past the road 3 times ( OOPS.)

I still remember the talk we had last night...sort of la..I kinda slept the earliest BUT at least I still can remember.. Everyone was talking about how things were going on, our strengths and our weaknesses. Also on how everyone worked together and elton helping us throughout.

Hence, that night we agreed that today, we will put in our best shot at everything, to show ourselves and elton( HE ROCKS(: ) that we can work together and be the best ever. And so we did. Done everything before that time given and enthued all the way(:

Most memorable night= last night. Where we sang together as a team...IM SORRY LA other groups, really wanted it to be our time only(: Sang songs together with elton, seriously damn fun, such a great moment of my life. Then went to perform in front of all the other groups ahahhaha! Elton with the guitar, we sang stand by me then went to link it on to sean kington's beautiful girls. oh man. I miss obs already. All the singing we did man. expecially during the trekking expedition, where suddenly we got damn high ( so did elton..) and sang SEXYBACK, in front of all the other groups from CAMP2. I bet they were shocked when they heard us singing ahahahhaa!

BO SENG This is for you guys.

Thanks so much for everything. Thanks for being so coooperative and ENTHU throughout the whole journey. At least now we have no regrets that we should have been more enthu or what. I had a great time being day IC for day 3 ahahahhaa! Thanks for teaching me that teamwork really does exist and that a great team does not have to be with the people you know best. Sometimes, I think it works best when you are not with anyone you know cause thats the time when you really have no choice but to rely on each other. Thanks guys for trusting in each other and giving me such a great and fun time for the last 4 days. It really has shown me the true colours of myself and others. I had a great great great time making new friends ( well...I know less than half of my team mates on the first day AHAHAHA!) ( IM SORRY LA!) Thanks everyone for supporting each other thoughout the trek and pushing each other to their limits during the rockclimbing ( ERHEM! YOU GUYS STILL OWE ME 40 PUSHUPS!(:

Seriously. BO SENG is really the best best best best GREATEST team I have ever had in my whole life. Its ironic, but yeah.

Elton: YOU ROCK SOCKS MAN! Thanks for being our instructor and bringing our group together, showing us where our weaknesses were and how to use what we have learnt and our strengths in daily life. Thanks for all the singing and getting us high during the trek. ( I still dont know why you were so high when you saw that girl saying WHATSUP to you..woah woahh..) Thanks for reminding me that blind is such a nice song and making me want to play the guitar again.Thanks for all the encouragement you have given me and the others, and most importantly..for bringing the group together(:

An end always starts with a beginning.

Oh yes. I am back from russia people!! RUSSIA LEH! AHAHAHAHHA! Yeaah, it was way to go all the way there. And yes, it has ended. When did it start? 3, 4 months ago. And it was only to the last minute we started to get better, and then became worse again. BUT who cares abt that now?!!!!! Cause, I sang in front of a BEAUTIFUL river every morning in the cold wind. I sang in a church with MARVELOUS acoustics(: And I competed on a BEEAAAUUTAEEEFUUL stage which is made of wood so when we stomped, it sounded like it was going to break AHAHAHAHH!

OH YES. 2 golds(: youth cat under 19 FULL MARKS!

I had fun, I experienced cold weather though I wasnt really very cold...AHAHAHAHAH! 10 to 20 degrees plus.. ahahhahahah!

hohoho. Today was...woah. LOL!

Yes. It was my sister's wedding. Almost all my cousins couldnt recognise me. All my relatives didnt know it was me. Actually, I only think I looked different when upclosed. I nearly died having to put up with that much 'dressing up'. I swear. I nearly died with all those spraying of the hairspray. And I cant believe that how much make up they used..and yet, the weirdest part was that I actually willingly sat there allowing her to do whatever she needs to do, ( or at least whatever needed to that sums to $80 ) at..like what? 6.30am?

Of course, I have to admit. It was fun while it lasted(:

Today was a very tiring day, I can say. Still, well, it was fun(: At least it was not wasted sitting at home AHAHAH! Rushed off to east coast park for skating, got lost AGAIN. Eventually found my way, and went to meet stef. Lol, still it was fun, have not skated for a long long time(:

Then, rushed home to watch INDIANAJONES with my sister(: AHAHHAH! SUCH A COOL SHOW MAN! At least better than what stefan described to me. phff. To TEAM C.A.T ( chiangmai action team(: )

It was seriously a great experience having to work with you guys. SERIOUSLY! I had so much fun with each and everyone of you guys(: WE DID IT. We gave out love and joy to the kids in the orphange. We gave out love, hope and a sense of belief to the villagers. Remember how the the faces of the people glowed, how they smiled, how the children laughed at the school when they saw the puppet performance. Remember how WE laughed during the whole trip by joel and alex..( awful JKJK ) singing. How the music team 'cried' when we saw all the towels. How the games group tried so hard to get the cones to be in a straight line. How the puppet group made the children and people laugh over and over again with their really cute performances.

Through this 8 days, it felt long, but yet it was short when we spent time for once giving instead of receiving. I am 100% sure there were no regrets for embarking on this trip. Right team cat? ahahahha! And yes, No matter what Mr sim said, WE DEFINATELY BONDED AS ONE. AS A TEAM.

May the bonds last forever. And no, not just in words, but truly, may it last forever. LETS HAVE OUTINGS!

DAY 4:

Went up a mountain to get to the Maetho Karen Village. GOSH. 5 hour journey..in a very nice van. But VERY uncomfortable..Cause, 4girls had to squeeze at the back. And all of us couldnt sleep cause it was too uncomfortable to. However, knowing me, I did sleep! For like...1/2 the journey? ahahaha! The whole journey there was fun. Everyone kept singing non stop and taking UNGLAM PHOTOS! AHAHAHAHAHAHA! ( sounds familiar eh team cat? )( wheres the websites ah? )

Reached there at about, 1 pm, and had our FIRST lunch there. Everyone unknowing just followed the guide DOWN the very very very steep hill or slope thingy. Whats worse is that we realised that there was like..faeces (shit) everywhere.. And most of us couldn't really breathed as the mountain air there was really thin. So there we were, gasping for air. We finally reached something like a log cabin, which was the pastor's/doctor's house. It was really amazing that they actually built the whole thing, including all the carved furniture, all in just 2 to 3 years. The food there was really really good, although everyone looked a little queasy about sitting on the ground crawling with ants..But, REALLY, surprisingly, the food was really really good. I think it must be because they cooked it with firewood. (:

Now, the tough part. After going down the steep steep hill, we all had to climb UP the steep steep hill. ARGH. Seriously, the first time I climbed up, I really felt like stopping half way and don't move anymore. I really couldn't breathe at all and my legs were really aching. HOWEVER! After a few times up and down the hill for every meal, Me and estee eventually got good and fast enough to beat the NCC PPL! MUAHAHAHAHAHHA!(: On the way up, I saw puppies that looked exactly like polar bears! I know it sounds weird but SERIOUSLY! They really looked like polar bears, so cute la!! aAAHAH!

Hopped on the van and we reached our own log cabin. The view there was seriously to die for. All the mountain ranges there was like woah. Hence, after immediately throwing my bag into the cabin,I ran out and stood like, singing the sound of music AHAHAHAHAH!!!! Although the very very bad part was that the whole place was swarming with HUGE bugs at night..eeyer.

After that, we sat on a pick up truck and off we went exploring the 7 villages there. The roads like extremely steep! Sorry jia xun that I had to constantly hold on to your jeans, and daniel for constantly falling onto you. EH Also, not my fault cause olivia kept falling on me ok! Sorry eileen for you know what ( cough cough )AHAHAHAH! The whole journey was almost identical to a roller coaster ride, only much more dangerous, cause right, If you look over to the side of the truck, you will be able to see the whole mountain ranges down..and its was like..the whole truck would anytime just fall over and we will all die! SUPER SCARY! WE were literally driving long the side of a mountain, EH its MOUNTAIN ah, not hill.

The villages there were like, ok, its just really amazing that therewre people living in such a harsh living condition. With droughts that last for like 6? 7? months. There was only ONE school that runs like 4 days a month and 7 villages share one school. The distance they have to travel is simply unbelievable. Like, I already had said, the whole terrain there is extremely steep and winding. Imagine us having to WALK, when everyone was already almost dying in the pickup truck ( bumpy roads + mud + steep slopes = painful butts and dirty shirts and everyone holding on to each other) The villages are didnt have toilets, so means, more then half the time I was walking in....erm... yea..you get the picture?

I am not sure whether when this happened but I am sure it was on this day. We had to unload all our logistics plus 100kg of rice and the very very heavy blankets and mosquito nets on to this church made of wood at the top on this hill. It was so tiring to do that and whats more it was located on this hill and there wasnt really any steps..

Things happened at night but i shant elaborate as usual. Too scary to..

Day 5

Gave out the goodies to the villagers. That really gave me a great sense of satisfaction cause, they were all so happy and smiling and their faces were really brighten up when they saw the things that we were going to give them. The preformance of peng you before that made me really really happy cause when we were all singing, all their faces were unlighten of their upcoming burdens. It was truly a wonderful feeling and I would love to do it again.

AHAHAHHAHAHAH! I remembered that we did our tribal dance on this day!! BI LI PAN JA! BI PAN JA!

DAY 6:

Left for regufee camp next to the thai/ myanmar border. It was quite sad to ljust look across the river and think that the myanmar people there are all suffering. The whole village there was better than I expected it to be. But still, it was quite sad to know that most of them there have not much of a future unless someone does something soon.

DAY 7:
