YEAH: So the cocnert overall went GREATTT, and it was really fun to sing all thsoe CHRISTMAS SONGSS!!(: And it think the choirs all sounded great and well, I had fun! Did you? LOL AIYYOO then sandy went crazy over some bass guy in VJC choir LOL~~~ ( how can you not have gone over to find out whats his name) ANYWAY! Apart from his looks, he voice was sooo goood LOL! He is a bass but he sounds like a tenor and yah he solo was nice. And I really like the song where there were all the guy solos, gosh that song is damn nice! LOL! IT WAS FUN LA OK! And I got to wear the same set of clothes which I had wore ever since the PLAY! concert last yearrr.. LOL!

BOO YOU!

okok, my work attachment at the zoo officially ended on saturday, but I just had no time blog about it. SO here..is the experience.

FRIDAY: BTW I cut my finger again. Damn it la, I was sooo angry at myself and the keeper that day for suddenly scaring me, causing me to cut my other finger. LOL. And yes, it was that senior keeper... who made me sit in the kitchen for the whole day until 11.30 SOO GLAD that I could leave at 11.30 man!

Up the hill everyday to get to the place. And let me tell you...the baboon enclosure is the SMELLIEST one ever.

Thats the den where the babboons stay at night. teerible la. so smelly. And really ok! Its like, I also dont know why, but their poo stinks the most...

Ok, so after all that I went over to NTUC buiulding there for a concert but those will be explained later not in this post.(:

SATURDAY: My last day of being a keeper, hmmm and yes the nice keeper is back. HIs name is Sham if I am not wrong. SUch a nice person la, He made me do all the usual stuff and brought me up to babboon cliff there and asked me to feed them CARROTS. LOL It was actually quite fun cause I never actually feed them before and it was really high up. LOL! One mis-step and you will fall into their enclosure where they will rip you apart LOL! ( i think.)

OKOK. I miss working there, cause it ws really a good experience to be WORKING and whats more, working at the ZOOO. Its like something that I will never do, or get the chance to do but, hmm I did! (: HMMM I wil definitely miss the keepers, even the scary one, and all the people I met(: Hope to go back there and continue volunteering, ORR work as the tour guide there(: Good pay you know! LOL quite fun also.(:

HAHAHAHAHA

If you haven realised, or do not know, I have been working at the zoo for 2 days now and boy, was today like TOTALLY different from yesterday man!

YESTERDAY: I waited for about 2hours doing nothing just standing there staring...until about like.. 11 plus? This senior keeper came and asked me to cut like the fruits and stuff...he is like..soo not friendly. Actually, I think he is but just NOT to me.

THen, after lunch, I slacked all the way till.. 4pm. OH and did I mention how I got stuck cause I couldnt pull open the extremely heavy gate? DARN,.

TODAY: ahahha! I reached at 9am and started working. HEHEHE When I walked into the place, this other guy came out and said hi. I wasnt too sure about him at first but PHEW, It was a different guy so I called Hui Jun that I was staying...seeing how that WEIRD guy wasnt there. I GUESS I MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE. CAUSEEE...he first brought me to some wolves or fox and dog like creature's enclosure to set them out into the tourist enclosure thingy. BEfore that he asked me to go into the enclosure to like sweep up and stuff. ( which is like so much cooler than standing there slacking for 2 hours) Then,it was off to release the screaming/shouting/shrieking/pushing/crazy baboons. My gosh. They are freaking noisy! Like..enough to break your ear drums. And they are very very pushy..when they were released, they run and squish other baboons, like a stampede( WAIT, it was a stampede) Next, it was off to the smt..eye smt.. the mountain deers LOLI just realised that enclosure was upstairs HEEHHE! COOL RIGHT? so, yeah set them FREE...( oh btw, I bet you never knew that the males deers work only on mondays tuesdays and wednesdays while the femlaes works on the west of the weeks LOL!)

Preparing of food was still the same today, only that this time there was somethere to talk to me while working LOL! I cut..oranges,apples,bananas, papayas and pears. AND the DREADED...CARROTS. You konw why? I accidentally cut my finger while cutting the carrots...and the wound bleed for like 5 mins non stop. I mean like..iI ran it under water..and when iI stop it will start bleeding like ALOT. Gushing out.. LOL! And..this after when he said there was a girl who also cut her finger and she fainted because of the blood. LOL! HMPH ( must be because I laughed at the story and then also got cut. )

After that it was off to peeling hard-boiled eggs, cracking eggs, mixing it with the meat, squishing eggs,peeling chicken. LOL! And it was off to feeding the mongoose. GOSH, they look like oversized hamsters, picture a meekat with darker fur and more stripes. LOL! Yeaa... went to fed them. And did you know the zoo is like a huge maze, its like there is this bush then you hop over it then there will be animals like or cages there. LOL! they eat alot..like so viciously. heheheh. Then I stood there and stone for about 20 mins plus because my keeper went over to some other place to feed some other animals. LOL! Yeah, they are very cute creatures. After that when he came back, I had to clean their cages and stuff. It was like the only cages which I cleaned.

Next, it was off to planting grasses at the giant tortoise enclosure. THEY OMG, actually can move very fast kay! I turned around and saw them beside me, then i turned around they were gone. LOL! And the wheel burrow which I pushed to the place was to hard to push. I had to push it through like....trees and bushes and hills and bumps and slopes. LOL! Yeah..planted those, the keeper, I think his name is shah. ahahaha!

He suddenly asked 'Have you feed arapaimas before?'

I obviously went like ' HUH?' He then said' fish fish.. you feed fish before?"

Turns out these ARAPAIMAS are huge 2m long fish with a huge mouth that sucks its food. So yeah, I went over to feed them and went over for the usual baboons toekn feeding. Hahahaha! No one bought today, so I feed them instead LOL HEHEHEEH! Otherwise you have to pay $5 to do so. yea, I could make them flip backwards and forwards so cool right? LOL!

AFter that I did nothing, went to rest for an hour at the pymgy hippos there. Talked to some ppl about random stuff..like juggling a chain saw? LOL And once again, my keeper asked' eh you feed kangaroos before?' LIKE NO! SOOOO I WENT OVER TO FEED THE THEM FOR HALF AN HOUR. OMGGG, it was a great way to end the day..like really great. Their fur are very very soft. ok la, I didnt really get to feed them, like abit only. I was teaching and helping the children whom paid to feed. Very cute children, I think I like to work with them. LOL! But even cuter kangaroos, those big greyish ones. LOL! sooo utterly..pretty man. I kept stroking themm, I mean its like, not everyday you get to pat one right?! LOL! ahhhhh suchhh a great thing to do. too ad I dont have pictures of it.

And oh yeah james: to my utter clumsiness..I fell. like slipped and fell onto the rocks. LOL my keeper ask" eh were you embarassed?' I replied' no. I always fall.' LOL~( true what.)

SANDY SANDY SANDY...you finally made sense of the timing for white horse VERY GOODD! BUt helping you get it during sectionals always causes my hand to get very painful..LOL!

Went to the Popular Book Fair today at Suntec, bought like a lot of correction tape refills LOL! and pens, and files, and books and paper... LOL!

tomorrow will officially be the day when I START working at the zoo..hehehehe I am still very excited though. LOL

hhehehhe, today was a quite fun day, LAST CHOIR PRACTICE ON SUNDAY.... awww Sunday club people, are you guys sad...? LOL, it was also the first time the entire gang went out of dinner, not bad right?!!!

EH DEAN AND AARON AND MERILYN AND GWEN! I didn't pang sei you guys today right?!

SUPPOSED to go bowling.

SUPPOSED to go for karaoke,

SUPPOSED to go shopping for choir tees.

in the end we just sat there and ate, and talked, and laugh until that RYAN CHIN FELL BACKWARDS AND HIS CHAIR TOPPLED. LOL!!! funny eh? Anyway, every one laughed until...lol!!!

I AM GOING TO WORK AT THE ZOO TOMORROW!

OK, my first week of holidays are almost over, which meanss...my work attachment at the zoo is coming soon(: hehehehe!!!! My mum just came back from the expo and bought like...5 or 6 pairs of crocs..oh woww....

Acutally, I didnt do much these few days, so nothing much to talk about, so yeah.

What a day

LOL What a day, ain't it daniel and zheng jia? LOL

So, today was a day which was totally unplanned, sort of, ok kinda, we actually had a plan. We were supposed to go mini golfing, then we changde it last minute to watch movie. Then when we reached TM, we realised that it opens only TMRRRR. WTTHH. Then, was about to order pasta mania, we suddenly stood up and left for food junction. Was supposed to go play arcade, but we kinda had forgotten about it. LOL!

SOOOOO, last minute, we went over to zheng jia's house, ok this was the only plan that we actually followed. BUTTTT, wewere supposed to go there to play halo.

IN THE END, I spent my time there playing with his dogs, especially PICO! lol! And daniel and zj spent the time 'emo-ing' at the piano. Then we went upstairs, they 'emo-ed' by playing chinese chess ( like what in the world right?!!) WHILE, I on the other hand, emo-ed with his classical and acoustic guitar, AND his OTHER piano. HMPHHHH!

And oh yeah, you might by wondering whats with the tag board. ANYWAY, those replies to previous tags, not by the BOTH OF THEM, are in the older msg part. LOL, yeah they had nothing better to do after playing chess. LOL!

What I Learnt Today.

1: Mundane, a word which I commonly use, is pronouced as MUN-DANE and not mund-dane.( how ironic.)

2: What, is really pronouced as wharrrt.

3: Pharmacy=farmacy. Fail=phail.

4: Estee cannot pronouce the word onions.

5: 3A girls are getting better at Bolleyball ( volleyball ), good enough to own 2 teams of guys.

So, I wake up in the morning and did the usual stuff. Brush my teeth, wash up, and started to scan through the newspapers. Suddenly, I stopped and what did I see sitting there, still in its box under the television?

A Wii.

.....OK, so my brother lied to me, saying randomely to me on msn that there was no more stock in America. LOL! And yeah he just came back after 2 weeks there. HEHEHEHEHE! What great timing man. I just played with it yesterday and now I actually have it. oh wow.

And yes. It did felt like an early christmas(:

Speaking of christmas, these few sundays, I have been going for choir in preparation for a christmas concert with VJC choir EHEHEHHEHE(: It really fun to be singing those christmas songs and gettng into the mood way before christmas!

But more importantly, it reminds me of my years in my primary school choir. During primary school, every year, the choir will go over to Orchard Road for carolling during the fesitive season. I will always be very excited about it because, singing to all those people whom have no idea what choral music is. HAHAHAHAA! But, it was really an experience that I will never forget, and it totally flooded my mind when I started again, singing all those christmas songs.

I miss those years. And the carolling competition at the expo.

HELLO(: PEEPS.

Soo...what have I been doing these few days?

Basically, I am been studying, eating, then studying somemore, then volleyballing, then studying even more, then maybe eat then volleyball somemore, then either its choir-ing or sleeping(:

Next week, choir on friday, saturday,sunday, monday. How greatttt is that?

I had lots of fun this week actually, playing volleyball outside my class, actually listening in english, playing the guitar and gossiping after school, choir day after day...LOL

And today was a tiring day. why? Cause I owed aaron in wii, basically the archery games(: HEEHHEEHHEHE!! And i got owed in Hurdles and table tennis. ._. LOL
Finished my biology proj at april's house today and BASICALLY. I had fun this week(:
